4 Super Tips to Help You Stop Sweating
Sweating is one of the foremost
dermatological problems that the majority of us suffer through every day. It is
very difficult and to add insult to injury it is one of the most visible
problems out there. Not only can you
physically see the affects of sweating, but you can smell them as well! In
fact, according to doctors, due to our chaotic lifestyle, the risk of excessive
sweating is spreading and growing every single day. Because of this, we need to really do
something to stop excessive sweating before it even happens. If you are a victim
of excess sweating and you want to learn how to stop sweating here are a few
tips and tricks.
Wear light clothes
One of the main reasons we sweat is
very basic and very simple; heat. How do
we reduce our natural body heat? By
wearing light clothes! Wearing lighter clothes (cotton) that allow your skin to
breathe and to expel heat is the best possible choice. Try to stay away from
wearing clothes made of fabrics that don’t breathe or stretch such as rayon, nylon
and synthetics, so on. Wearing light clothes will allow the heat from your body
escape, instead of keeping it in causing your body to overheat and sweat.
Have a bath or shower everyday
Taking a bath or shower at least once a
day is absolutely critical (I would even suggest two in the summer time/hotter
months). Bathing will keep your skin
free from dirt, germs, and other foreign objects that can clog pores that can
cause your body to overheat. Try to pay
special attention to things like your face, arm pits, feet, hands, etc. Also, not all soaps are made equal and not
all soaps can be used by everyone. Shop
for a new herbal, natural soap that reacts good with your skin and will leave
you clean and feeling fresh!
Drink plenty of water
Drinking plenty of water helps keep the
inside of your body cool. Think of it as
an engine coolant. Your body needs at
least 1 liter of pure water a day, preferably more during hotter months. A great mini tip for this so that you’re not
chugging water all day is to just drink a glass of water every hour on the hour
that you are awake. Easy, simple,
effective.
Use of
cosmetic methods
There
are several things you can buy over the counter that can help you stop
sweating. Some of the more popular products are deodorants and they now even make
creams that focus on helping you stop sweating.
Also, if you use a lot of make up, you can switch to something that lets
your skin breathe.
